Govt. policy and programmes passed from HoR

Kathmandu - Today’s House of Representative (HoR) meeting passed the government policy and programmes for the fiscal year 2077/078 BS with majority vote. President Bidya Devi Bhandari had presented the government policy and programme at the joint meeting of the federal parliament on May 15.

Earlier in today’s HoR meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had responded to the lawmakers’ queries on the government policy and programmes raised in the House meeting. Likewise, parliamentarians Minendra Prasad Rijal, Durga Poudel, Prem Suwal, Laxmanlal Karna and Sarita Giri had tabled their amendment proposals but were disapproved from the majority vote in the parliament.

The document was passed with majority vote after Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota proposed for the approval of the government policy and programmes from the parliamentarians. The next meeting of the HoR shall hold at 1:00 pm on 26 May.
