Seven more coronavirus cases reported on Thursday, tally reaches 250

Kathmandu - Seven more coronavirus cases have been found on Thursday taking the total number of COVID-19 infected people in the country to 250, the Ministry of Health and Population said. The seven people including a minor who tested positive to the novel coronavirus today are from Sarlahi, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Kathmandu and Kapilbastu.

Ministry's assistant spokesperson Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari said coronavirus infection was found in seven more people on Thursday following tests carried out at the National Public Health Laboratory Teku.

Among the infected are a 32-year-old male from Chandragiri municipality of Kathmandu, a six-year-old girl from Kapilbastu, a 45-year-old male from Dhankol municipality of Sarlahi district, a 40-year-old male from Janakpur sub-metropolitan city and a 20-year-old woman of Mithila municipality in Dhanusha district, and a 16-year-old male from Jaleshwar municipality and a 35-year-old male of Balawa municipality in Mahottari district.

Dr Adhikari said the health condition of the seven infected people is normal and they are under the observation of the health workers.
