COVID-19 nationwide tally reaches 219

Kathmandu -With the detection of two more COVID-19 cases today, the tally of positive cases across the country has touched 219. According to Joint Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, a 36-year-old male from Nepalgunj-8 of Banke was tested positive for the virus during the test at Kavrepalnchowk-based Dhulikhel Hospital.

Similarly, a 22-year-old male of Kapilvastu Municipality-5 has been diagnosed with the virus. His test was conducted at the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku in Kathmandu. On Tuesday alone, 83 cases were detected in different parts of the country. According to Dr Adhikari, both of the infected ones have normal health condition.
