One held for human trafficking

Melamchi - Police arrested a person from Chhapbhanjyang of Melamchi municipality-13 on Sunday evening for his involvement in human trafficking. 

Subash Sarki, 26, who had been absconding for five years after being sued on a case of human trade and trafficking, was held by the police. He is accused of selling a relative woman. 

Inspector of Police at Area Police Office of Melamchi, Nawaraj Dhungana, said Sarki was held on a special tip off. He is being handed to the District Court Chautara today itself. 

Both the father and son were involved in human trafficking. Subash's father, Ram Chandra Sarki, has also been serving the jail term.
