Butwal's youth organizations receive interest – free loans

Butwal - The District Youth Committee, Rupandehi will be providing interest – free loans to seven groups in the district under the rural and entrepreneurship programme. 

The committee meeting held on Sunday took the decision on extending interest – free loans at the rate of Rs 500,000 each to the groups formed by the members of the district's younger generation, according to District Youth Committee, Rupandehi's Sheshkant Pokharel. 

The National Youth Council under the Ministry of Youth and Sports last month had announced a proposal of 'one ward one entrepreneur'. As part of the announcement, the council has selected a group each on basis of representatives for running entrepreneurship programmes in seven constituencies of the district. 

The selected organisations may seek loan in installment from the cooperative affiliated to Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperative (NEFSCUN).
