Bharatpur–A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorcycle in Kumari chowk of ward no. 23 of Bharatpur metropolis.
The deceased has been identified as Hari Kala BK,60, of the same locality. She was hit by a motorcycle (Na. 22 Pa. 403) on Saturday night.
Seriously injured, BK died during treatment at Chitwan Medical College hospital, district police office, Chitwan spokesperson Yek Narayan Koirala said.
The motorcycle rider Surendra Chaudhary of Aurahi-4 in Parsa district was also seriously injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
