PM Deuba preparing for Cabinet expansion, asks coalition leaders to give ministers' name
KATHMANDU, September 10: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called the leaders of the ruling alliance to submit names of ministers for expansion of the Cabinet in a meeting held at Baluwatar this morning.
Even after almost two months of his appointment, PM Deuba has not been able to expand the cabinet.
"PM Deuba has asked for names of ministers to the ruling alliance leaders," said Durga Poudel, vice chairman of the Janamorcha Party.
A meeting of the ruling alliance has been rescheduled for 6 PM later this evening.
The meeting held earlier on 9 AM however did not hold any specific discussion focusing on ratification of Millennium Corporate Challenge (MCC), according to a leader who participated in the meeting.
