Meeting of ruling alliance currently underway at Baluwatar, discusses Cabinet expansion
KATHMANDU, August 31: The ruling alliance is currently holding a meeting at the Prime Minister Office Residence at Baluwatar.
The meeting is likely to dwell on Cabinet expansion and power-sharing among alliance members.
The ruling alliance includes the Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha Party.
The meeting has been attended by Prime Minister and President of NC, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN ( Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of JSP, Upendra Yadav and Chairman of federal council of JSP, Dr Baburam Bhattarai among other leaders.
Today’s meeting is likely to finalize the expansion of the Council of Ministers.
