Constitutional amendment process moving forward: DPM Singh

Butwal, December 25 — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakashman Singh has stated that the process of constitutional amendment is progressing after discussions with all political parties.

Speaking with journalists in Rupandehi on Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Singh mentioned that task forces from both the Congress and UML parties have already been formed, and they are working internally on the amendment process.

On the same day, Singh laid the foundation stone for the Siyari Tourism Corridor and inaugurated the Dayanagar Danab Lift Irrigation Project in Siyari Rural Municipality, Rupandehi. He expressed confidence that these projects would significantly improve the economic conditions of the citizens in Siyari.

Deputy Prime Minister Singh highlighted the exemplary work done by the Siyari Rural Municipality in the agriculture and tourism sectors to bring about positive change in the lives of its residents.

The lift irrigation project will provide irrigation facilities to 105 hectares of land.

Siyari Rural Municipality Chairperson Thaneshwor Ghimire mentioned that the municipality is working according to the needs of the farmers.
