President Paudel swears in five new ambassadors
Kathmandu, December 23 — President Ramchandra Paudel has administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ambassadors appointed to five countries.
The oath ceremony was held at the President's official residence, Sheetal Niwas, where new ambassadors for India, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Spain, and South Korea took their oaths.
Shankar Prasad Sharma has been appointed as the ambassador to India, Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahangphe to South Korea, Shanil Nepal to Spain, Chandra Kumar Ghimire to the United Kingdom, and Janga Bahadur Chauhan to Russia.
A statement issued by Sheetal Niwas on Monday mentioned that senior officials of the Nepal government were also present at the oath-taking ceremony.
