NPL: Karnali Yaks struggle in low-scoring match against Sudur Paschim Royals
Kirtipur, December 16 — In a low-scoring encounter at Kirtipur Stadium, Karnali Yaks were bowled out for just 101 runs in their allotted 20 overs against Sudur Paschim Royals in today's Nepal Premier League match.
Karnali's top scorer was Zeeshan Maqsood who scored 30 runs. William Bosisto scored 16 runs and Babar Hayat scored 13 runs.
Opting to field first, Sudur Paschim's bowlers, led by Harmeet Singh (3/17) and Dipendra Singh Airee (2/20), dominated the innings, taking wickets at regular intervals.
Sudur Paschim Royals now need 102 runs to win, with a required run rate of 5.05, after a commanding bowling display.
