Palpa Jeep accident: Landslide kills three, 8 injured

BUTWAL, Aug 30: Three persons have died in a jeep accident in Ribdikot Rural Municipality-2, Jorte of Palpa.
Information Officer at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birendra Thapa, informed that three persons died on the spot when the dry landslide buried a Scorpio Jeep (Lu 1 Ja 4600) en route to Palpa from Tamghas, Gulmi at around 8:30 am today.
Two males and one female are among the deceased, but their identities are yet to be revealed.
Eight people have been injured in the accident and are being brought to Palpa Mission Hospital and Lumbini Medical College, the district police office informed.
