Govt decides forming recommendation committee for appointment of Vice-Chairperson of Medical Education Commission

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: The government has decided to form a recommendation committee for the appointment of the Vice Chairperson of the Medical Education Commission. Communication Minister Rekha Sharma gave the information while announcing the decision of the Cabinet meeting held on the 1st of August.

With the term of the current Vice Chairperson Shri Krishna Giri coming to an end, the government is going to start the process of appointing a new Vice Chair. It has also been decided to appoint Prof. Dr. Lochana Shrestha of the Nepali Army Institute of Health Sciences as a member, as per Clause (c) of the same sub-section.
