KATHMANDU, July 20: The gold that was seized on Wednesday, yesterday has been taken to the Currency Management Department. The gold is estimated to be around a quintal, and has been taken to the Currency Management Department with tight security by the team of the Department of Revenue Investigation.

The gold kept in 8 boxes will be weighed in the Currency Management Department. The gold was seized by Police as it was about to be taken out of the Tribhuwan International Airport after the check pass. Among those involved in the smuggling, the police have arrested four people till now. The gold arrived from Hong Kong.
