NC Vice President Nidhi leaves for Denmark

Kathmandu–Nepali Congress Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi left Kathmandu today for Denmark to observe Parliament Election process there, at the invitation of Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD).

Denmark, the Nordic country, has scheduled the Parliamentary Election on June 5 where leader Nidhi will carry out an on-site observation on the eve of the Election Day, according to his private secretariat.

During his Denmark trip, he will meet voters, youth and women community there. On the Election Day, he will visit polling centers, and the following day, he will have interactions with political leaders there.

Nepal is the first member country of DIPD outside Denmark which was recognised by the Danish Parliament on May 26, 2010.

Nepal in 2012 had formed a joint mechanism for partnership with the DIPD that comprises representation of various political parties of the country.
