Butwal–Chief Minister of Province-5, Shankar Pokhrel, has said that the constitution of federal democratic republic Nepal has opened the door of upliftment and development of all ethnics and communities.
In a message of best wishes on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and Maghi festival, Chief Minister expressed the view that the Maghi festival has been helping to maintain brotherhood, unity and harmony in Nepali society.
"This festival is common festival of all Nepalis as the Tharu community and Magar community celebrate this festival as the main festival while other communities celebrate it as Makar Sankranti", reads the message.
Chief Minister Pokhrel said that the province government has moved ahead towards the path of planned development to achieve the goal ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali’ as the country has been implementing the constitution.
He also urged all political parties, communities, organisations and general people of the province to make the campaign 'Prosperous Province, Happy People' as the province government has moved ahead towards the planned development.
