Kathmandu – State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has arrived Kathmandu for official goodwill visit to Nepal at the invitation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokhrel welcomed Suu Kyi at VVIPLounge of Tribhuvan International Airport.
On the occasion, a contingent of Nepal Army offered a guard of honour to Suu Kyi. The Myanmar leader is also scheduled to take part in the four-day Asia Pacific Summit that is taking place from November 30.
