Urlabari – A motorcyclist died after a tipper hit the two-wheeler at Patharishanishchare Municipality-10 in Morang district along the East-West Highway last night.
Thirty-year old Padam Rajbansi of Mechinagar Municipality-14 of Jhapa district passed away after the motorcycle (Ba 64 Pa 1991) was hit by the tipper (Ko 1 Kha 5752) from the same direction, police confirmed. Seriously injured in the incident, Rajbansi died on the way to a hospital in Urlabari, Morang. According to Police Inspector Kamal Bajgain, the tipper driver has fled the scene.
