Municipality to assist rebuilding fire-damaged houses

Balewa – Dhorpatan municipality-9 of Baglung has decided to provide assistance for reconstructing 30 houses damaged in fire yesterday.
A total of 48 families from 30 houses have been helpless after the fire damaged their houses. A team led by Municipality Mayor Dev Kumar Nepali reached the inferno site, took stock of the situation and assured of the financial assistance of Rs 4.8 million to the afflicted people.
The disaster management fund of the Municipality would be mobilized to provide at least Rs 100 thousand to each family for the reconstruction of the house.
Similarly, he said he would help them from his personal level to buy zinc sheets for house roofs.
The fire victims were elated to have municipality Mayor together at this grief.
