Government talks team appeals to Dr KC to end strike, Dr KC denies

Kathmandu - The talks team formed by the government to address the demands of the agitating Dr Govinda KC has appealed to Dr KC to end the fast-onto-death in view of the need of medical service during the natural disaster and his deteriorating health condition.

The talks team appealed to Dr KC in the presence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and representatives of the civil society as Nilambar Acharya, Kanak Mani Dixit and Prof Kedar Bhakta Mathema, reminding him of the address of his demand in the amended national medical education bill.

Dr KC however denied the request.
