Municipality launches mobile apps for receiving public complaints

Damauli –Bhanu municipality of Tanahun has brought into operation a mobile application to listen to the public complaints. 

The local government has put in place the mobile apps for redressing complaints lodged by general public. 
To this effect, Bhanu municipality Mayor Udaya Raj Gauli shared the mobile apps has been brought into operation to inform the general public about the municipality’s policy, programme, plan and budget as well as its performance. 

The tool has been put in to practice for the convenience of general public as the number of users of technological platform has increased with rapid advancement of information technology and internet access. 

“Every people have mobile on their hand. Bearing this in mind, we have come up with own apps to inform public of their services and entitlements being delivered from the municipality office”, Mayor Gauli added. 

He further said the mobile apps could be a an effective tool for transparent handling of municipality’s works. ---
