Leader Poudel sees off Hajj team
Kathmandu - A team of Nepali Muslims leaving for Macca of Saudi Arab as part of Hajj journey was seen off today.
Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel saw off the team moving to Makka – the most holy city for Muslims – for Hajj celebrations this morning.
The team is leaving for the holy shrine under the leadership of Central Hajj Committee.
Total 129 Muslims of 13 districts are leaving for Makka according to the tradition of Muslim community. They celebrate Hajj for 43 days.
Vice-President of Nepal Muslim Association Haji Raffik Miya informed that the belief is it that the completion of journey to the pilgrimage (Makka) would ward off aby sins.
