Pathway Construction Begins Along Kaligandaki River Bank in Nawalparasi

Nawalparasi. With the objective of developing the Kaligandaki river bank in Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East) as a religious, tourist, and recreational destination, pathway construction has commenced.

The rural municipality has started pathway construction from the Balighat area along the Kaligandaki bank. Rural municipality chairman Prakash Ojha stated that the pathway construction has been initiated with the goal of overall development of the area by connecting natural beauty, religious faith, and tourist potential.

“We have started pathway construction with the objective of connecting the beautiful view of the river bank with the religious sites, natural resources, and tourist attractions here,” said Chairman Ojha.

The rural municipality aims to connect the pathway, according to its long-term plan, with places such as the mango orchard in Balighat, Kaligandaki bank bar, पीपल स्वामीचौतारी, गैँडाअल्प झरना, and Chamke Odar.

It has been informed that a 'track' has currently been opened, construction will be carried out in phases, and the pathway construction will be further systematized by mobilizing manpower through the National Employment Program.
