Lalitpur Metropolitan City to Unveil Annual Policy and Program Today

Kathmandu. Lalitpur Metropolitan City is set to unveil its annual policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year 2083-084 today.

Through the Metropolitan City Council session, the metropolis is going to publicize the policy and program that includes development construction, heritage conservation, education, health, and environmental improvement plans set for the coming year.

Metropolitan Chief Chiribabu Maharjan is scheduled to present the priorities and goals for the upcoming year in the program. Lalitpur Metropolitan City is expected to give special emphasis on subjects like the 'Smart City' concept, revival of archaeological heritage, and public transportation management.

After the policy and program are passed, there is a constitutional provision to bring the annual budget for the upcoming year on the same basis.
