PM Deuba directs police to maintain rule of law
Kathmandu - Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the high level police officials to maintain peace and security to boost rule of law in the country.
During a meeting the Inspector General of Nepal Police, Prakash Aryal and the senior officials recently promoted to Additional Inspector General held with him at Singha Durbar on Monday, PM Deuba urged the Nepal Police to work in a way it maintains integrity.
Special security alertness was imperative in view of the coming third round of the local election in province no 2 on September 18.
According to him, the police could be active in providing rescue and relief operation during the disaster as well.
