Lahan –Two persons lost their lives in separate incidents in Saptari district. Indramani Rai, 75, drowned to death while taking a bath in Kamaldaha pond in Tirhut Rural Municipality in the district. Police said that the dead body of Rai was recovered from the pond on Thursday evening. Rai was residing in the house of local Dev Narayan Yadav.
Likewise, 19-year-old Abhishek Mehata of Agnisayir Krishna Sharawan Rural Municipality-5 committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan inside his rented-room in Rajbiraj Municipality-8. Reasons behind the incident are not revealed so far, police said.
