Chitwan – Nur Prasad Adhikari, who had registered the charge sheet regarding the murder of his elder brother Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Fujel, Gorkha, failed to present himself before the court. The court had served him a deadline (August 20) to appear before the court.
The Chitwan District Court on August 5 had issued order in the name of Adhikari to present at the court on August 20.
The hearing of the case has been re-scheduled for September 9 (Sunday) when Nur Prasad failed to appear at the court in the given date, informed Gambhir Ghimire, Witness Protection Officer at the court.
It may be noted that Krishna Prasad Adhikari was abducted and subsequently murdered on 6 June 2004 in Ratnanagar of Chitwan, where he had gone to meet his grandparents. ---
