Two Held with Goods Worth NPR 1.9 Million at Siraha Border

Siraha. Armed Police have taken two people into control along with goods worth approximately NPR 1.947 million and a truck from the border area of Devnagar, Navarajpur Rural Municipality-5 in Siraha district on Saturday night.

Rajesh Yadav, 50, and Anand Yadav, 39, residents of the same place, were taken into control by a patrol team deployed from No. 7 Battalion Siraha.

Based on special information, the truck with number S 1 Kha 535, cosmetic goods worth the mentioned value, toothpaste, 260 kg of walnuts were being illegally taken from Nepal to India. The truck has an estimated value of NPR 2.1 million, and those taken into control are the truck's driver and co-driver.

Both individuals taken into control have been handed over to the Nepal Police, and the process of handing over the seized goods to customs is underway.
