Man Murdered in Domestic Dispute in Chandragiri Municipality

Kathmandu. A young man has been murdered by stabbing with a knife during a domestic dispute in Kharibot, Thankot, Chandragiri Municipality-3. On Saturday night, Sami Ahmed, 38, originally from Mahottari and currently residing in Thankot, murdered his brother-in-law, Jakir Mansuri. According to the police, a dispute arose between them around 9:15 PM last night over a domestic matter. As the dispute escalated, Ahmed attacked Jakir, aged 20-25, with a vegetable-cutting knife. Jakir, who was seriously injured in the stabbing, was immediately taken to Med Point Hospital in Satungal for treatment. However, during treatment, doctors declared him dead at 9:30 PM, the police said. The deceased Jakir's permanent residence is Gaushala Municipality-5, Mahottari. A police team deployed immediately after the incident has taken Sami Ahmed, who carried out the stabbing, under control. The police have also recovered the knife used in the incident. According to Thankot Police Station, the body of the deceased has been sent to Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for post-mortem.
