Prime Minister's Office Addresses Threat Audio Against Ward Secretary

Kathmandu. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has expressed serious concern over the audio recording of threats given to Ward Secretary Kamal Bhandari of Dullu Municipality-13, Dailekh.

Issuing a statement on Saturday, spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office Hemraj Aryal stated that the incident has drawn serious attention.

An audio recording of Ward Secretary Bhandari being threatened by a person named Prakash Khadka has been going viral on social media.

The statement also mentioned that as soon as the audio became public, the Prime Minister's Office has already issued strict instructions to the concerned security bodies and investigative agencies to immediately bring Khadka within the purview of the law and proceed with the necessary action.
