Kathmandu – Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested a police constable Govinda Nepali and initiated action against him.
He was arrested in accusation of seeking bribes from the entrepreneurs while importing the goods.
The police constable working at area police post of Nepalgunj Bus Park, Nepali, was held by CIAA team on tip off. He had taken the bribe of Rs 10,000.
A charge sheet was filed against him at the Special Court, Kathmandu, in line with Corruption Control Act.
