Far-Western Province Government's Audit Irregularities Increase by 60 Crores in One Year

Dhangadhi. The audit irregularities of the Far-Western Province Government have increased by approximately 60.5 crores in just one year.

The 63rd report submitted by the Auditor General to President Ramchandra Paudel on Friday mentions that the provincial government incurred an amount of 60 crore 48 lakh 89 thousand rupees in the fiscal year 2081-82. This is 1.53 percent of the total audited amount of 39 billion 49 crore 91 lakh 55 thousand rupees.

The 62nd report of the Auditor General had stated that a total of 50 crore 6 lakh 93 thousand rupees in audit irregularities were found when auditing a total of 35 billion 62 crore 59 lakh 77 thousand rupees in the previous fiscal year 2080-81. Which was 1.41 percent of the total audited amount.

According to this, the audit irregularity rate of the provincial government has also increased by 0.12 percent. With this, the total audit irregularities of the Far-Western Province Government have reached three billion 58 crore 89 lakh 9 thousand rupees.
