Weather Forecast: Partial Cloudiness and Possibility of Rain and Snow in Various Regions

Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial influence of westerly and local winds in Nepal, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed. Due to this, the Himalayan and hilly regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are generally cloudy, and the rest of the provinces have partial cloudiness. 

This afternoon, Koshi Province, along with the Himalayan and hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, will be generally cloudy. The remaining Himalayan, hilly, and Terai regions will have partial cloudiness. 

There is a possibility of thunderstorms with moderate rain and snowfall in some places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces, a few places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and one or two places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Sudurpaschim Province. There is also a possibility of dust storms in a few places in Madhesh, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces. 

Tonight, Koshi Province, along with the Himalayan and hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, will be generally cloudy. The remaining hilly and Terai regions will have partial cloudiness. 

There is a possibility of thunderstorms with moderate rain and snowfall in a few places in Koshi Province and one or two places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. There is also a possibility of dust storms in a few places in the Terai regions of Madhesh and Lumbini provinces, the Department informed.
