Speaker Aryal and Japanese Ambassador Tōru Maeda Hold Diplomatic Meeting

Kathmandu. A courtesy meeting was held between Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal and Japan's Ambassador to Nepal, Maeda Tōru.

During the meeting, a positive discussion was held on the long-standing friendly relations between Nepal and Japan, mutual cooperation, and various issues of bilateral interest.

Speaker Aryal expressed his belief that Nepal-Japan relations would become more strengthened, deepened, and result-oriented during his tenure. He praised Japan's cooperation in Nepal's development, infrastructure, education, and technology sectors and expressed expectations for further expansion of cooperation in the coming days.

During the meeting, Ambassador Tōru mentioned that Japan places high importance on its relationship with Nepal. He also expressed a commitment to further strengthen mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides emphasized taking the historical relationship between Nepal and Japan to new heights during the meeting.
