House of Representatives Meeting Continues Policy and Program Discussion

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled to convene at 11 AM today. The discussion on the government's policy and program will continue in today's meeting.

President Ram Chandra Paudel had read out the government's policy and program in the joint session of the parliament on Monday. The meeting of the House on Wednesday was adjourned without entering the regular agenda.

Opposition MPs had obstructed the House as Prime Minister Balen Shah did not arrive to present the policy and program. The possible agenda for today's session includes the Prime Minister responding to questions raised during the discussion. However, it is uncertain whether he will participate in today's meeting or not. On Wednesday, he had tried to manage affairs through the Finance Minister without being present in the House himself, an attempt that the opposition parties opposed.

The policy and program are mentioned in the possible agenda to be presented for decision today.

Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly is also scheduled to convene at 11:15 AM. The ongoing discussion on the government's policy and program is on the possible agenda for the meeting.
