Opposition Parties Protest PM's Absence During Policy and Program Presentation

Kathmandu. Opposition parties have protested after the Prime Minister did not appear to present the policy and program. All opposition parties in the parliament stood up and protested when Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle was about to present the proposal for discussion on the policy and program on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah (Balen).

All opposition MPs have taken a stand not to let the parliament run without the presence of the Prime Minister. He has presented himself in the strictest manner. "Resign Prime Minister. Will you do whatever you want?" said Hark Sampang, chairman of the Labor Culture Party.

Even though the Speaker tried to explain the provision in Article 38 of the House of Representatives Regulations, the opposition did not give time. When MP Arjun Narsingh KC from the main opposition party started speaking, the opposition sat down.
