President Paudel Presents Policy and Program for FY 2083/84

Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Paudel has stated that the government will move forward by embracing good governance as the main foundation of a prosperous Nepal. He made this announcement on Monday while presenting the policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 in a joint session of the federal parliament.

The government aims to strictly implement a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and make significant improvements in public service delivery. President Paudel expressed commitment to advancing economic revival and social progress as a national campaign.

The policy and program mention that the process of constitutional amendment will be advanced based on dialogue and cooperation among political parties to ensure equal ownership of all classes, sectors, and communities. For this, he stated that common issues for constitutional amendment will be identified and a 'Constitutional Amendment Discussion Paper' will be prepared.

"Zero tolerance against corruption and improvement in public services will be taken as a campaign," President Paudel said, "Common issues for constitutional amendment will be identified in cooperation with political parties and a discussion paper will be prepared."

In addition, the government plans to develop a revenue leakage-free economic sector by bringing all economic transactions onto a digital platform. The government has prioritized ensuring transparency by making all economic activities and transactions technology-friendly.
