193 Officials Dismissed by Ministry of Health and Population

Kathmandu. 193 officials under the Ministry of Health and Population have been dismissed.

According to the Ministry's Spokesperson Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, 193 officials from the ministry have been dismissed in accordance with sub-section (1) of section (2) of the Ordinance Relating to Special Arrangements for Dismissal of Public Officials 2083.

According to him, the process of sending letters of dismissal to the dismissed officials has started. "We are corresponding with the officials who have been dismissed according to the ordinance," he said. He stated that these officials were dismissed from the institutes, committees, and boards under the ministry.

These bodies include the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Patan Academy of Health Sciences, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Health Insurance Board, Nepal Health Research Council, Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Health Professionals Council, among others.

Spokesperson Adhikari informed that the officials have been dismissed from the date the ordinance was issued. President Ram Chandra Paudel had issued the Ordinance Relating to Special Arrangements for Dismissal of Public Officials 2083 on Baisakh 19.
