Youth Murdered by Khukuri Attack in Kirtipur

Kathmandu. A youth has been murdered by a khukuri attack in Podedtol, Ward No.-10, Kirtipur Municipality, Kathmandu. Vipin Ghimire, originally from Dhurkot Rural Municipality, Gulmi, died when 3 people attacked him with a khukuri, SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Complex Kathmandu told Ratopati. The injured Ghimire, attacked with a sharp weapon, died during treatment at Kirtipur Hospital in Devdhoka. SP Bhattarai said that a search is on for those involved in the khukuri attack. He said, 'The identity of the accused has been established, and we are searching for them.' It appears that youths who have previously had cases against them are involved. The deceased and those involved in the murder were previously acquainted.
