Anjan Shrestha Pledges Efforts for Economic Development as New President of FNCCI

Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Anjan Shrestha has expressed his commitment to make every possible effort for the economic development of the country.

Speaking briefly before assuming the responsibilities of FNCCI President, he made such a commitment. He stated that the security of investment as well as that of entrepreneurs and businessmen is his first priority. Stating that partnership between the private sector and the government is indispensable, he said that the prosperity of the nation is possible only through mutual partnership.

Senior Vice President Shrestha became the President of FNCCI from today. According to the provision in the FNCCI statute that the Senior Vice President automatically becomes the President, he assumed the responsibilities.

President Shrestha has been associated with FNCCI for two and a half decades. He is the Executive Director of the business conglomerate Laxmi Group.
