Pilgrim Dies of Altitude Sickness After Muktinath Visit

Pokhara. A pilgrim died on his way back after visiting the Muktinath temple. 85-year-old Chitrabahadur Mall of Kapilvastu died of altitude sickness in Kagbeni. 

He was taken to the hospital in Jomsom after having trouble with breathing. However, the doctor declared him dead, the Mustang police informed.

In Mustang, the number of people dying of altitude sickness in the month of Baisakh alone has reached 3. Most of the deceased had gone to visit the Muktinath temple.
