Two Detained for Vandalizing Office Board and Abusing Staff in Birgunj

Parsa. Police have taken under control two individuals who sprinkled mobile on the board of the Infrastructure Development Office in Birgunj, Parsa, and behaved indecently towards the staff.

On Tuesday morning around 9:15 AM, they displayed hooliganism by entering the office premises located in Ward No. 23 of Birgunj Metropolitan City. Those arrested are Jaipujan Thakur Lohar, 33, of Ward No. 11 of Birgunj Metropolitan City, and Manmohan Pandey, 30, residing in Radhemai of Ward No. 13.

According to the police, they had a dispute with Ram Pravesh Yadav, an employee of the same office, regarding the infrastructure development plan. In the midst of the dispute, they became angry and sprinkled mobile on the government office's board before fleeing. Immediately after the incident, upon receiving information via telephone from the office chief to the Ward Police Office, Shripur, a police team intensified the search.

Rajiv Karki, spokesperson for the District Police Office Parsa and Deputy Superintendent of Police, informed that both individuals involved in the incident have been taken under control and further investigation has been initiated. Police stated that legal action will be taken against them for obstructing employees in a sensitive location like a government office and damaging public property.
