Education Minister Pokharel States Nepal's Clear Stance on Border Disputes

Kathmandu. Education Minister Sasmita Pokharel has stated that the Government of Nepal's stance on the border dispute issue is clear. Speaking to journalists on Monday during the publicization of the Council of Ministers' decisions, Minister Pokharel clarified that the disputed area is Nepal's own land and the government is committed to resolving it through diplomatic means.

According to Minister Pokharel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already issued its 'note' regarding the border dispute issue. He informed that in response to that note, the Indian government has also expressed its intention to find a solution to the problem through open cooperation and dialogue. 'The solution will be sought through cooperation between the two countries,' he said.
