Weather Forecast: Rain, Snow, Thunderstorms Expected Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Currently, Nepal is under the influence of westerly and local winds along with a low-pressure area in the lower atmosphere near the eastern part of Nepal.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain and snowfall with thunderstorms, hailstorms, and winds in some places in the Terai regions of Madhesh Province, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Province this afternoon.

According to the division, the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, will generally be cloudy, and the Terai regions of Sudurpaschim Province will be partly cloudy.
