Prime Minister Balen Shah to Not Meet US Envoy Sergio Gorai

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah, who is on a visit to Nepal, will not meet Sergio Gorai, the special envoy for South and Central Asian affairs of US President Donald Trump. Gor is in Kathmandu for a three-day visit to Nepal from Thursday.

During the visit, he will meet Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle on Friday. However, the meeting with Prime Minister Balen Shah will not happen.

'The Prime Minister is busy with internal governance work,' Prime Minister's Press and Research Expert Deepa Dahal told Ratopati, 'There is no meeting with Gor. It will not happen.'

Prime Minister Shah has not met any foreign diplomats alone so far.

Immediately after being appointed Prime Minister on Chaitra 13, he had a collective meeting with foreign diplomats present in Nepal at Singha Durbar.
