Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda Stresses Implementing Buddha's Ideals

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that implementing the ideals of Gautam Buddha in practice is the need of the hour. 

Issuing a message of best wishes on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, Prachanda clarified that a peaceful and prosperous Nepal can be built only through the construction of a society based on social justice, respect for cultural diversity, equality, and coexistence. 

‘The message of peace, non-violence, compassion, and the middle path propounded by Buddha is extremely relevant in today’s world and in the context of Nepal. As long as discrimination, inequality, and injustice persist, neither stability nor prosperity is possible. Therefore, it is the need of the hour to implement Buddha’s ideals in practice, not just limit them to reverence. A peaceful and prosperous Nepal can be built only through the construction of a society based on social justice, respect for cultural diversity, equality, and coexistence,’ he said.
