Nepal Communist Party Criticizes Government's Move to End Parliament Session, Urges Reconvening

Kathmandu. The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has expressed dissatisfaction with the government's recommendation to the President to end the parliamentary session and bring ordinances. On Tuesday, a central coordination committee meeting held at the central office in Parisdanda urged the immediate convening of a parliamentary session.

'The government's undemocratic act of circumventing parliament by abruptly postponing the parliament session it itself called and advancing ordinances is opposed, and this meeting demands the immediate convening of a parliamentary session,' the NCP stated.

Furthermore, the government's attention has been drawn to addressing the voices of stakeholders in the formulation of laws related to federal civil service, school education, and others.
