Elche Secures Thrilling 3-2 Victory Over 10-Man Atletico Madrid in La Liga

Kathmandu. In a thrilling Spanish La Liga match held on Wednesday night, Elche defeated Atletico Madrid with a score of 3–2.

Atletico Madrid took an early lead in the match. Nicolas Gonzalez scored in the 10th minute to put his team ahead. However, in the 18th minute, Elche's David Affengruber equalized the game at 1–1.

Atletico Madrid was reduced to 10 players in the 30th minute after Thiago Almada received a red card. Taking advantage of this, Andre Silva scored a penalty in the 33rd minute to give Elche a 2–1 lead. Immediately in the 34th minute, Atletico's Nicolas Gonzalez scored his second goal of the match to level the score again at 2–2.

Although the first half ended in a draw, Elche managed to score the decisive goal in the second half. In the 75th minute, Andre Silva scored his second goal of the match to secure a 3–2 victory for Elche. Atletico Madrid, limited to 10 players, could not find an equalizer and suffered the defeat.
