Purna Bahadur Khadka Convenes Meeting Following Supreme Court Verdict on Central Committee Legitimacy

Kathmandu. Following the Supreme Court's Friday verdict granting legitimacy to the central committee elected through the special general convention, outgoing acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka has called a meeting of members from his faction.

Outgoing central member Laxmi Khatiwada informed Rato Pati that Khadka has scheduled the meeting of outgoing central members for Sunday at 12:00 PM at the Smart Hotel in Dhumbarahi.

On Saturday, Khadka held discussions with outgoing office-bearers from his faction regarding the path forward. Following those deliberations, Khadka reached the conclusion to convene the meeting of the outgoing central committee members.

Leaders stated that the meeting will focus on whether to remain within the party and prepare for the 15th general convention or to choose a separate path.
