Former President Bhandari extends New Year 2083 greetings, calls for political transformation

Kathmandu, 1 Baishakh: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended her best wishes to all Nepalis on the auspicious occasion of the New Year 2083, expressing hope that it brings new energy, optimism, and enthusiasm. In a message, she expressed her wish that the New Year inspires individuals to overcome past misunderstandings, despair, and obstacles to foster personal, social, and national prosperity.

Former President Bhandari emphasized that the current priority is to transform political parties in line with the times through the active participation of the new generation, innovative thinking, and the effective use of technology. She also called upon everyone to move forward with dedication, broad unity, and a positive mindset, with a firm resolve to regain the public's trust.

In her message, she noted that the results of the recently concluded House of Representatives elections have brought significant changes to the country's political landscape. She stated that the sentiments, expectations, and dissatisfaction expressed by the public through the elections must be taken seriously.
